The Aftermath

The “Aftermath”, was executed during 1993 in the aftermath of the first Gulf War while it has a lot of the Sumerian faces and a Sumerian Capricorn, it did integrate current time symbolism such as the petrol tower that was burning on the bottom righthand side and the screaming face in profile overlaying the Sumerian figure. Malallah explained to Artzotic that the bull that is in the top center is the guardian that is overlooking at the events and perhaps the protector.
The Aftermath picked up the reputation of being Hanaa’s Guernica in her circles.
